Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center/TELENET 2
Training Series


All TELENET 2 video conference KLETC presentations are offered simultaneously at multiple sites and are free. Each two-hour session is offered twice: the first session begins at 1:00 p.m. and is repeated in a second session in the evening of the same day at 7:10 p.m.

Registration
All sessions are FREE; however, registration is required in order to make arrangements to open sites and supply the correct number of handouts. Check the KLETC web site http://www.kletc.org for registration information.

Gangs
Detective Tim McClure, Ford County Sheriff's Office Detective
The presentation will provide information on gang identification, history, ideology, and recruiting in addition to definitions and the Law.


Feb. 3
Social Networking
Lt. Troy Livingston, Wichita Police Department
The presentation will provide information about how law enforcement agencies can make the best use of social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook.


March 3
 
Offender Registration
Nicole Musquiz, Kansas Bureau of Investigation
The presentation will provide the latest information regarding offender registration.
